At Optimum Chiropractic, clinical decisions are based on information, not assumptions. X-rays are one of the tools we may use to understand the structure of the spine more clearly, especially where a patient’s history, symptoms or examination findings indicate that imaging would add relevant clinical detail.

We don’t X-ray everyone.

We X-ray when it meaningfully improves clarity, safety and decision-making.

You deserve transparency.
We value accuracy.
X-rays help us achieve both; only when they are clinically appropriate.

Every patient is different.
So every imaging decision must be, too.

We consider:

✔ Nature & duration of symptoms
✔ Red-flag indicators
✔ Examination findings
✔ Clinical relevance

Only when these factors suggest that imaging will provide meaningful insight do we move forward. If it isn’t needed; you won’t be recommended one.
